Happy Monday, everyone! What is going on with you? Not much to share from our end. We had a relatively quiet weekend. Saturday night we watched the movie "First They Killed My Father", an adaptation of the memoir by Loung Ung, which recounts the author's horrifying childhood experiences under the ruthless Khmer Rouge regime in her native Cambodia. You witness atrocities through the eyes of a five year old during this genocide and it leaves you shaken. It is not an easy film to watch but then it shouldn't be. Have you seen it? What did you think?
On a happier note, we may have fi-na-lly settled on a name for our new kitty. We're giving it a few days to see if it sticks, and if it does, I'll share it with all of you.
